EU being dumb update

Hi all
So normally when I have to update about fulfilment issues I am talking about tariffs and a big orange baby. But this time its the EU being dumb.
Some of you might be aware that many UK sellers are stopping selling to the EU due to the new PPWR changes. The long and short of it is that in order to sell into the EU you have to register in 27 countries separately, pay fees and local representative fees in the thousands and the EU just become unviable to ship to for most UK based small creators.
The bad news these rules also apply EU to EU and that means that in order to fulfil this Kickstarter I cannot ship directly and the plans to ship with our current partner has hit this stumbling block. What this means is in the short term I am working with the fulfilment partner to find a solution or will need to find someone that can ship the books. I have 3 months to find a solution so pretty confident I can. The issue is I can't provide shipping costs yet to you for the EU, since these changes will likely change the costs, I just have no idea in what way.
Also if there is no solution found I will then look to refund EU backers as a last resort. Fingers crossed I will find a solution before that has to happen.
If you would like to complain about this please do by contacting your EU representative and letting them know that the PPWR is killing small businesses and creators. The likes of amazon can absorb these fees and admin headache, I and others cannot.
