FILES FILES FILES
9 days ago – Wed, Sep 23, 2026 at 03:23:03 AM

Hi all

I have just clicked go on files. That means you now have access to the Alpha files in your Backerkit.

Couple of points to note

  1. The files are ALPHA and changes will be made. Final files will come via Drivethrurpg but for now they are on Backerkit.
  2. All feedback please provide it using this form https://forms.gle/7Vhxg2EZnYNVEruU9 Feedback provided elsewhere will likely be not taken into account. I stress this as every time I run a kickstarter I get feedback sent via email or comments and end up missing it!
  3. You have to complete your survey to get the files so the 116 of you that have not please do.
  4. If you have not had a survey check spam, check your not using apple ID to login to Kickstarter and then email [email protected] if you still not got them.
  5. While I have your attention please follow my next project THE LAST WAR  Every follow really helps with the algorithm and stuff! Thank you.
  6. Feedback closing date is the 15th October.

To celebrate I have one last surprise

Trent of Miscast Terrain has helped create a secret Pirate Captain you can find in your files! So check it out now.

Cheers all

Alpha coming soon and more
10 days ago – Tue, Sep 22, 2026 at 03:59:47 AM

Hi all

Wanted to give you all an update on progress. The second edit pass is nearly done and the plan is to send out files via backerkit this week/next week. So if you have not completed your survey yet please do to get access when it goes live.  If you have any issues please email [email protected]. Comments on Kickstarter do not always make it to me so please do use that email to get hold of me.

FEEDBACK
If you could provide feedback on the game at this link here  that would be amazing. While the book has had a number of read throughs, edit passes, play tests and more it is not always possible to catch all errors and mistakes I make in creating these games. As such your feedback is super helpful in making sure that the end product is as good as it possible can be.

The plan is to leave this feedback open until the 20th October when we go to PRINT!

Update on book progress and what is coming next
25 days ago – Mon, Sep 07, 2026 at 01:04:33 AM

Hi all

Wanted to give a quick update on book progress. The book is getting an edit pass right now. Which will take I think about two weeks. At the end of that the book will be coming out to you all as a PDF via Backerkit [for those that have completed their surveys].

After this there will be 3-4 weeks of open play testing and feedback before it goes to print. Printing usually takes about 2-3 weeks and then they books ship to distribution hubs. For US and Australia this takes a bit longer but the goal is to have shipping start about 2 weeks after that date. So the timeframe with no hiccups right now is books in hands sometime November-December if it all goes to plan.

Now there can be delays of course in printing and shipping so I will keep you up to date if these dates shift at all.

Other Stuff

Those that know how I work will know I usually work on multiple books at once and don't got to Kickstarter until one book is finished. This allows me the quick turn around that I aim for on all my projects. With this in mind I can now officially let you know about the next project coming from me in 2027.

THE LAST WAR END TIMES EDITION.

That is right my second game is getting a expanded edition. With all new art, a whole new campaign and so much more. You can sign up to follow along now!  There is some big news to come with this one as well in the coming months so keep your eyes out!

Update and a bonus
30 days ago – Wed, Sep 02, 2026 at 05:21:26 AM

Hi all

Backerkits are out and being completed so thank you all.

Just a quick explainer. Your backerkit link is for you to fill out and pay postage. The charge of which will be applied in a couple of weeks.

The pdf book is not ready yet. That will be sent to those that have filled their backerkits out in a couple of weeks once it has had another edit pass.

Hope that all makes sense.

RIP Tim Curry.

I like many others grew up on movies with Tim curry and his passing was very sad. To remember him and honour him here is a new Pirate captain for you all with a quick sketch that I might improve at some point.

Backerkit links and discord.
about 1 month ago – Sun, Aug 30, 2026 at 05:45:41 AM

Hi all

So all backers will have backerkit links sent out today. If you do not get yours please do the following.

Step one - Check your Spam folders. You would be surprised how many end up here.

Step two - Check your Kickstarter email. The one you login in with is where the survey has gone. If you want to change your email you can email me at [email protected]. If you use apple ID to sign in you likely wont get an email so you will need to contact me. This is a problem faced on every Kickstarter I run.

Step three - Contact me to check at [email protected]

Step four - DO NOT LEAVE A COMMENT stating where is your survey or you cannot find it. That I do not always see all comments, but I see all  my emails so if you want to make sure I catch your support need please email [email protected]

DISCORD

That's right Forbidden Psalm has its very own discord. Come check it out here.

Right thats all folks

Cheers
